Job Description

The key responsibilities for this role include:

Preparation of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) by accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Recording financial transactions accurately and timely, including journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management for decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts to guide the organisation's financial planning and resource allocation.
  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and preparing tax returns, including corporate income tax, VAT/GST, and other relevant taxes.
  • Coordinating and providing support during internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.


The Successful Applicant

We are looking for someone with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proficiency in using SAP
  • A Degree in Accounting and Finance
  • CPA qualification (Completed)
  • Knowledge of the Australian Accounting Standards
  • Experience with internal and external audits
  • Knowledge of Tax including Payroll tax
