Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute the transportation of goods from suppliers to distribution centers and retail locations.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders and carriers to optimize shipping routes and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with international customs regulations and documentation requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive records of shipments, tracking information, and customs documentation.
• Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and freight partners to resolve shipping issues and delays promptly.
• Monitor and manage freight costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality.
• Evaluate and negotiate freight rates with carriers and logistics providers.

The Successful Applicant

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in international freight forwarding within the retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and INCO terms.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in using logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
