We currently have a permanent, full time opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance Division. This role will be based in our Collingwood Head Office and will report to the Head of Business Performance Management
The Finance Business Partner is a key finance support to their respective executives and is responsible for driving the financial agenda and enabling delivery on strategic objectives. This role will support the Head of Business Performance Management in the pursuit of the company’s strategic and financial objectives.

What you will be doing
- Partner with one or more Executives and their direct reports to deliver financial and strategic objectives
- Own the month end processes relating to the relevant divisional expenditure including any accrual requirements
- Undertake accounting reviews of each expense item loaded in the accounts payable system to ensure it accurately reflects the nature of the transactions and accounting requirements including account, tax and spend codes
- Run the budget and forecast process for relevant divisions incorporating changes to business operations and growth
- Partner with other Finance Business Partners to ensure the Business Performance Management (BPM) team is across any changes to drivers, projects or other business initiatives that can impact on delivery of the business goals in a proactive manner
- Create a culture of continuous process improvement within the BPM team
- Develop FTE reporting and predictive models around FTE requirements linked to business growth
- Maintain appropriate financial records and forecast of all current and future commitments.
What you will bring
- CPA or CA qualification
- Clear understanding of budgeting principles, accounting standards and tax obligations
- Financial management experience in an Authorised Deposit taking Institution (ADI) preferred, with demonstrated experience in the development of performance management frameworks
- Thorough understanding of business process, control, governance, risk management and best practice
- Demonstrated ability to link and balance short term-needs with longer term objectives
- High level of attention to detail
- Advanced spreadsheet and financial modelling skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and staff (verbal and written)
- Demonstrated business partnering experience
- Ability to work autonomously across multiple initiatives
