The Cyber, Security, Identity and Fraud Engineer will protect LeavePlus against potential threats, you will take ownership of our identity management and fraud prevention and proudly commit to applying best practice security measures across the company. You will be in charge of member identity, access and identification validation and verification and extend this across financial platform security including fraud detection and other related platforms. Reporting to the Workplace Technology Manager, you’ll be in charge of all facets of the security solutions across LeavePlus.
Desired Skills and ExperienceKey Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security measures protecting against fraud and unauthorised access
- Mitigate risk of security breaches and guard against these by protecting systems, servers and applications
- Align all security measures taken to industry standards, regulatory requirements and LeavePlus policies
- Stay attune to latest threats and technologies keeping LeavePlus at the forefront of possible attacks
- Develop and implement best practices for identity verification and access control
- Communicate security protocols and procedures across LeavePlus teams
- Align Azure cloud configurations to security baselines and best practices
Skills Required:
- 3-5 years experience in a Cyber Security role focused on security engineering and security operations
- Demonstrated level of proficiency using Company Identity, Security and Fraud platforms
- Advanced user of security frameworks and standards NIST, ISO, CIS, ISM, SACSF, Essential 8
- Proficient in security tools, technologies and firewalls including IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, WAF and Microsoft Defender and vulnerability scanners
- Strong understanding of IAM principles and best practices.
- Demonstrated experience with fraud detection and prevention technologies
Qualifications:
- A degree in computer science, information technology, or related fields
- Certifications in CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+ preferred
