Role Overview

As a Qantas Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you will be responsible for performing Aircraft Maintenance and rectification as per manufacturers’ and company specifications to a high standard. You will be working with a range of specialist teams enabling you to provide excellent engineering standards on a solid foundation of safety, quality, reliability, and service.

Your Profile
  1. Completed Certificate IV Aeroskills qualification (Mechanical, Structures, or Avionics)
  2. Previous experience in a Line Maintenance environment is desirable
  3. Relevant Aircraft Maintenance (Mechanical, Structures, or Avionics) trade experience
  4. Experience working on B734, B738, A380, B787 is essential
  5. Experience in fuel entry (desirable)
  6. Completed all documentation and reporting requirements to a high standard
  7. Taken ownership and driven outcomes to meet business requirements
  8. Maintain awareness of customer requirements
  9. Demonstrated ability to work safely and adhere to all safety and compliance procedures
  10. Thorough knowledge and understanding of Qantas Mechanical Maintenance procedures
  11. Highly developed attention to detail
  12. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  13. Commitment to being customer-focused with the flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required
  14. Highly developed attention to detail
  15. Demonstrated high ethical/behavior standards and self-discipline
  16. Australian Drivers licence
  17. Successfully pass a Pre-Employment Medical
