The Tara Agency are currently taking applications seeking an experienced and dynamic Maintenance Manager’s to lead a competent & cohesive group of Mechanics & Boilermakers on a well known and established Quarry NOR Perth (approx. 20kms north of Wanneroo on Old Yanchep Road).

Our client is a well-known and respected manufacturer of reliable and quality reconstituted limestone block products to the Western Australian commercial and industrial market.

About the Role:

  • Reporting directly to the General Manager & Company Director
  • Leading the current cohesive & competent maintenance team of Mechanics and Boilermakers (5 people)
  • Responsible for looking after and managing all of the plant and equipment on site such as but not limited to:
    • Finlay Block Laying Equipment
    • Caterpillar Wheel loaders
    • Concrete mixing equipment
    • Concrete silos and Equipment
    • Conveyors and stock piling equipment
    • Fleet of Telehandlers.
    • Fleet of Forklifts.
    • Fleet of road trucks Scanias, Volvos, & Freightliner all very late model.
    • Fleet of road trailing equipment.
    • Striker track Mounted impact crushers.
    • Italian Block making equipment including pressing equipment and cutting equipment
  • Responsible for the maintaining of maintenance practices for these above machines
  • Ability to work to a very high safety standard

About You:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience either in a Quarry or in Mining Operations as Leading Hand, Supervisor or Manager 
  • Resident NOR Perth – preferably in the vicinity of the Quarry or along the coast
  • Available for an immediate start
  • Strong knowledge of mining equipment, techniques, and industry best practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, costs, and financial performance
  • Commitment to safety and environmental sustainability essential 
  • Proficiency in mining software and data analysis tools
