Join us in stopping bad bots, for good Kasada protects millions of online users everyday. Founded to stop automated bot attacks, we believe the internet should be a safe place for everyone. Bad bots are highly destructive. They take over accounts, steal content, overload systems and infrastructure and cause billions of dollars in damages every year. Seeking to restore trust in the internet, Kasada stops bots at the very first request including those that have never been seen before.
We’ve grown from a few friends working out of a shipping container under the Sydney Harbour Bridge to now operating globally, we’re spread across the world protecting some of the most well-known brands on the face of the earth.

What you will be doing- Build, maintain and operate systems that enhance detection efficacy.
- Lead a team of Security Engineers to defeat evolving bot challenges being experienced by our customers.
- Collaborate and co-design the future of Security Engineering at Kasada.
- Own the strategic direction and delivery of Security Engineering at Kasada.
- Enable team members to grow in their roles, including training across and within teams to ensure high performance
- Be the key interface between the Security Engineering team and all other teams that interact with or rely on Sec Eng e.g. Support, Success, Threat Intelligence, Engineering
- Drive innovation by building and guiding the team to build and experiment with ideas outside the norm.
- Take ideas created by Security Engineering and enable them to be applied to our product in a value adding, visible and functional way.
- Report on key performance metrics of the team.
- Exceptional communication and prioritisation skills
- A quick thinker and mover, able to adapt to evolving situations, priorities and challenges
- Background of working on the tools but with experience and motivation to be in a leadership role.
- Excitement to proactively solve problems.
- Flexibility to work across time zones and lead a global team.
