The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mobile App Developer to join our dynamic growing team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mobile app development with a focus on Flutter and Dart. They will be responsible for having input to design, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications that meet the needs of our customers and business objectives. You will be working on both legacy and greenfield projects, both native applications as well as web applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain mobile applications using (but not limited to) Flutter and Dart OR React Native, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and user-friendly design. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and enhancements.
  • Implement mobile UI and UX principles, patterns, and best practices to deliver exceptional user experiences following industry leading SLDC.
  • Integrate mobile applications with back-end services using APIs.
  • Ensure the full mobile development life cycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
  • Utilise version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.
  • Interact with core engineering teams to integrate mobile applications with existing platforms and systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends, technologies, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in mobile development with a focus on Flutter/React Native.
  • Solid experience in iOS and Android core languages (Swift, Kotlin).
  • Experience with mobile UI and UX principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding with designing and building APIs and modern integrations methods.
  • Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of serverless computing such as AWS Lambda.
  • Understanding of Python programming language.
  • Must be self-starting and have good communication skills.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with NodeJS, React, Go.
  • Experience integrating AI technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS. Certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of other mobile frameworks and platforms such as React Native or Swift.
  • Understanding of the Android and iOS deployment ecosystem.
  • Mapping services such as Google, Apple, and HERE.
  • IoT and Connectivity in the Automotive space.
  • Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience is a plus.
