Position Overview

Creative Content Senior Specialist is responsible for supporting the creative versioning of existing assets to meet customer/consumer needs. Our Creative Content Senior Specialist is a specialist with a specific skillset centred around art direction and design. Must have a proficient level of understanding and functional capability in software designed for creation of graphics and designs from scratch, ability to edit and manipulate creative, and will be responsible for the development and creation of production ready graphics.


Responsibilities

  • Design original pieces, including illustrations and infographics
  • Refine images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software
  • Apply typography techniques
  • Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects
  • Liaise with marketing and design teams to ensure deadlines are met
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools
  • Collaborating with brand and marketing to maintain fair and accurate schedules to deliver high quality work consistently and on time
  • Removing imperfections, composite images and color correcting images
  • Digital manipulation and retouching (including skin, product, color, layout, sizing..etc.)
  • Creating and maintaining standards and systems for retouching on all assets produced
  • Determine how best to represent a brand concept visually, specifically regarding art / graphic design
  • Determine which photographs, art, or other design elements to use
  • Coordinate activities with brands, agencies, internal design teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field (advertising, graphic design, visual arts, etc.)
  • 5 min years of agency creative experience in art / graphic design
  • Experience with creative teams in agency or in-house agency environments
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and account teams
  • Strong problem-solving, communications, and relationship-building skills
  • Presentation skills and proven ability to influence creative decision making are a must
  • Self-motivation and ability to motivate others to creatively and strategically solve multiple problems at once, under quick deadlines
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign CS5 or above, knowledge of PowerPoint
  • Strong creative portfolio, available online
  • Full working proficiency in English (written & spoken)
