FGJV has awarded Tunnelling Solutions to complete the construction works of three nominated tunnels (including cross passages) for the main carriageways of the Coffs Harbour Bypass Project including site establishment works, drilling and blasting, excavation and support, waterproofing membrane installation, permanent lining works, tunnel painting, drainage excavation works, and finishes between each tunnel to portal face, and all associated works.

About the role

  • Support and report to the Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager
  • Managing the planning, cost and delivery of allocated work packages
  • Manage the progress of the delivery and completion under set project targets, in accordance with safety, environment, specification, design and contractual requirements
  • Provide support to the Site Engineers
  • Working closely with other disciplines (designers, planning, etc.)
  • Producing accurate and timely project reports
  • Driving a safety culture through effective supervision and implementation of standards, training and procedures.
  • Ensuring all OH&S procedures are adhered to
  • Temporary assistance with accommodation can be provided for the right candidate

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering
  • 5-12 years post-grad experience
  • Tunnelling and Mined Tunnel experience preferred
  • Drill & blast experience advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate as part of a supportive high-performing team
