The Opportunity

In this role, you will report to the Engineering & Reliability Superintendent and work on an 8:6 roster as part of our Wodgina operation in Western Australia. Your focus will be on providing engineering support to maintenance teams within the processing plant to enhance equipment reliability and performance.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components.
  • Preparing and maintaining electrical engineering documentation and reports.
  • Overseeing the installation of new electrical equipment and systems.
  • Analysing and enhancing the performance of plant electrical systems.
  • Developing maintenance strategies to minimise downtime and improve overall efficiency.
  • Promoting safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and implementing preventative measures to mitigate hazards.

What is Required?

Our ideal candidate will have an electrical engineering background in the mining sector, including exposure to reliability processes within operational processing plants.

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • A tertiary qualification in electrical engineering (recognised by Engineers Australia).
  • Proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
  • A working knowledge of Australian electrical standards and mining safety regulations.
  • A current WA C Class Driver’s Licence.
