Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial Controller role will be responsible for managing all financial activities of the organisation, ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. This role involves overseeing financial reporting and analysis, as well as managing financial risks and optimising financial processes to drive efficiency. You will responsible for leading the Finance function which includes financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and billing services.
The role works closely with the Finance Leadership team, other Executive Directors and Operational and Clinical leads as well as representing Peter Mac at Board committees including Audit & Risk and Finance.
Essential requirements include a profession certification (CPA, CA or equivalent) and leading both financial accounting and operational (accounts payable/receivable) functions within a medium to large complex organisation. You will have a track record of creating and leading a high quality and customer orientated team and a track record of managing change and delivering improvements in systems and processes.
A background in the health sector is desirable but not essential.
