Job Purpose

As a Digital Solutions Architect within our Global Manufacturing Excellence Organization, your role is pivotal in driving digital transformation initiatives across our global manufacturing facilities. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design innovative digital solutions that maximise digital value realisation and benefits.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Develop digital strategy, roadmaps, and partner with implementation teams for successful delivery of digital platforms.
  • Analyse user requirements, recommend solution proposals aligned with enterprise digital architecture strategy, and optimise solution architecture for functional requirements.
  • Participate in technology selection, control solution development, and support project management.
  • Communicate optimised architecture to stakeholders, collaborate with domain architects, and ensure compliance with technology standards.
  • Conduct digital architecture governance, develop policies and standards, and maintain digital platform architecture blueprints.
  • Communicate digital architecture proposals to peers and senior management, develop business architecture guidance, and design scalable integrated solutions.
  • Ensure seamless integration of solutions into the existing ecosystem.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience as a solution architect within refining or gas plants, with expertise in designing and implementing digital plant solutions.
  • Certification in ISA 95 Model Architecture, TOGAF, Open Group Open Certified Architect (Open CA), or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of digital technologies including AI, blockchain, IoT, data science, cloud computing, and integration.
  • Experience in developing business cases, conducting benefit/cost analysis, and designing scalable digital solutions.
  • Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks, software technologies evaluation, and solution architecture governance.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
