Your Impact

We are excited to be seeking to fill the newly created role of ESW Advisor. Based in either Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane, you will work with stakeholders across the business to support the implementation of the Oceania Safety & Wellbeing strategy and the Commercial Safety and Wellbeing plan across our partner businesses (craft breweries, craft hospitality venues, manufacturing, roasteries and logistics).

Your role will see you providing key safety and wellbeing support in managing risks, coaching, mentoring, reporting, investigations, regulatory matters and reviewing trends via data analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with Senior ESW Business Partner and line management to promote accountability for the management of environment, safety and wellbeing business risks.
• Support continuous improvement reviews of systems and procedures.
• Support line management to implement and maintain the ESW compliance schedule within partner businesses.
• Support the Senior ESW Business Partner and partner business management with Safety & Wellbeing projects.
• Support line management to ensure Safety & Wellbeing compliance, systems training, and induction requirements are met, including maintenance of training records and licenses for partner businesses. This includes delivery of training.
• Develop strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders across the business.

About You

• Experience in the planning, development and implementation of health and safety compliance programs and management systems.
• Qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in an EHS Role in a manufacturing/FMCG/mining/construction or heavy industry environment.
• Intimate knowledge of ISO &/or Safety Management systems and experience in their application.
• Team player with outstanding stakeholder management, leadership and influencing skills across all levels (without direct line authority).
• Working knowledge of relevant Environmental & Workplace Health & Safety Legislation and Australian Standards.
• Energetic and solutions-focussed mindset with a strong understanding of the drivers of EHS compliance and performance.
