The Opportunity
As the Head of HR, you will be part of the leadership team, working toward business goals, and leading the HR service. In this exciting and pivotal role, you will oversee, refine, and mature HR processes, and systems, ensuring seamless alignment with the global standards. Supported by a small team, you will drive recruitment and talent management, organisational design and development, employee relations, compliance, compensation, system optimisation and strategic HR initiatives. This role offers a great opportunity to work as part of a professional, driven leadership team, and help design and execute the people strategy. There will be opportunities for travel both Australia and abroad.

About you
Are you a dynamic and experienced HR leader ready to join a professional leadership team, and make an impact? This role requires someone with positive energy, who can work as part of an executive team, design a people strategy for the business, and then be hands on in delivering the strategy. You will be the lead for HR for Australia, responsible for the HR service delivery, while being part of the global HR team. This role would suit someone with experience supporting industrial and production-based workforces, ideally have worked in a multi-site environment, manufacturing & mining preferred. You have experience on a company leadership team, worked for global business and enjoy coaching leaders and developing a team.

  • Degree in Human Resources, MBA or related
  • Minimum of 10 years of industry experience, and at least 5 years of leadership
  • Experience within operational site based employees and, with global metric reporting lines
