About Our Client
Michael Page are partnering with a Marine Solutions provider, dedicated to delivering top-tier services in the Oil & Gas, Resources, Civil Construction, Marine Logistics, and Defence industries. Their commitment to excellence and innovation have positioned them as leaders in the field, and we are now seeking a talented Commercial Analyst to join their dynamic team.
Job Description
Reporting to the GM Commercial your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes within the Marine Solutions sector.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Analyse commercial performance metrics and provide insights to enhance profitability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare bids, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
- Support the development of pricing strategies and revenue optimisation plans.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Analyst, preferably within the Marine, Oil & Gas, Resources, Defence, or Services industries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
