About our opportunities.....

We have an opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager

The Procurement Manager is responsible for providing outstanding client service by actively supporting the Government client’s procurement processes, ensuring all procurement activities meet Evolve FM’s business and corporate objectives as well as the requirements of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and Indigenous Procurement Policy (IPP).

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead specialist procurement input, thinking in support of Evolve Fm and the account leadership
  • Develop annual Procurement Plan in accordance with client requirements and Category strategy, obtain signoff , and implement agreed Procurement Plan
  • Execute Procurement Plan in a timely manner
  • Run effective and ethical sourcing activities to achieve the timely and cost effective provision of all goods and services
  • Negotiate contractual conditions which achieve the optimal outcomes for cost, service level and risk
  • Engage stakeholders throughout each procurement process to manage change and buy-in
  • If required, measure the status and level of service provided against the formal performance management requirements of contract
  • Ensure that the contractual obligations of the supplier, Evolve FM, and clients are reflected in contractual documentation that is maintained to the highest standard
  • Share knowledge, learning and leverage with the rest of the Evolve Fm community
  • Develop the procurement strategies and execute all procurement related activities to meet the business and corporate objectives of both EVOLVE FM and clients
  • Ability to manage a variety of complex projects and issues concurrently
  • Ability to manage stakeholders in a complex environment

About you ...

We are seeking a contracts/ procurement Manager with a proven track record of successfully delivering best practice and quality to the organisation, your team and clients and who thrives on building relationships and providing service excellence.

Proactive with a keen eye for detail and the ability to balance multiple priorities, while possessing a can-do attitude; our ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • Proven experience in management/ specialist role with a fast paced and complex environment.
  • Knowledge of work health and safety requirements
  • Track record of excellent stakeholder engagement, with a strong client focus, and dealing with people with different skill sets and responsibilities
  • Highly developed problem solving, process improvement, analytical, communication and customer service skills
  • Experience contributing to a culture of inclusion and high performance
  • Procurement experience in the government, property, facilities or project management sector along with knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Indigenous Procurement Policy would be highly regarded as would tertiary Qualifications in a related field Relevant tertiary and/ or CIPS qualifications
