This position will have responsibility for the following:
- Run the day-to-day operations of a Private Wealth team with 3 advisors and growing
- Dealing with high net worth clients and assisting them with onboarding to platforms, investment transfers, placing trades, answering investment queries, administration, etc
- You will also be liaising with various providers and fund managers
- Administrative work involves updating investment valuations, running reports on excel, creating spreadsheets, calculating investment returns/performance, preparing review packs for presentations, etc.
- Implementing and improving processes within the team
- Manage wrap platforms
- Prepare client reports and presentations
- Cash Management and share transfers
- Manage personal insurance submissions
- Ensure compliance procedures are met
- Book meetings and appointments
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in either Commerce/Finance/Accounting. Post graduate would be preferred but not necessary.
Experience:
Approximately 5-7 years experience in the Finance and Banking/Private Wealth industry in either an operations or middle office role.
- This role is suited for a high performing individual who is self-driven and can work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- High level attention to detail and have the efficiency to deliver on demand.
- Interest in building a long term career in wealth management
- Strong organisational and client centric approach
- Proactive attitude, self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
