About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven Sales individual to join our Cairns team. We are seeking an industrial professional to join our existing team due to the ongoing growth we are experiencing.
 
You will be accountable for delivering excellent customer service and product portfolios in your respective region. Your ability to identify and convert new business opportunities whilst building strong and effective working relationships will be integral in your success. 
Reporting through to the Branch Manager, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Achieve revenue and gross margin KPI’s
  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts
  • Translate customers’ requests into practical product solutions
  • Undertake product enquiries and maximise sales opportunities

About You

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong customer focus combined with confidence, initiative, enthusiasm, ambition and a willingness to learn, along with:
  • Sales/Internal Sales/Trade experience within the fastener industry, industrial supplies industry and/or construction industry
  • Product/technical knowledge, advantageous
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills
  • Capability in meeting deadlines and a strong desire to succeed
  • Team player attitude who will "jump in" and help the team meet its objectives
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • A desire to drive improved results
  • Strong computer skills
  • A valid driver's license
