About Our Client

Job Description

  • Evaluate and report on media and communication effectiveness, providing data-driven recommendations.
  • Represent the company at events professionally, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with policies.
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and executive stakeholders, ensuring alignment of activities.
  • Demonstrate strong time management, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Foster a collaborative and improvement-oriented team culture.
  • Lead planning and execution of media, communication, and engagement plans.
  • Provide strategic communication and media advice to enhance reputation and reach.
  • Monitor and respond to emerging media and organisational trends.
  • Simplify complex legislative information into clear content.
  • Ensure communication content aligns with companies style guides and priorities.
  • Oversee delivery of key corporate publications.
  • Consult and negotiate with stakeholders to develop impactful communication activities.
  • Provide expert advice to executives on media inquiries and requests.
  • Assist with organisational and government projects.

  • Streamline team processes and priorities through effective documentation and planning.


The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media Studies, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Proven experience in strategic communication, media relations, or public affairs, preferably in a regulatory or government setting.
  • Strong understanding of communication principles and practices, including messaging, audience segmentation, and channel optimisation.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear and engaging content.
  • Experience leading and managing teams, with a focus on empowerment, talent development, and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and inspire others in complex environments.
  • Proficiency in project management, including planning, execution, and evaluation of communication initiatives.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives and media representatives.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess effectiveness and recommend improvements based on data and insights.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and growth, with a willingness to adapt to evolving communication trends and technologies.
