Software Implementation Consultant

About AlfaWorking on and with our flagship software platform, Alfa Systems, you will be delivering our leading-edge technologies to Alfa’s customers in the asset finance industry across the globe. You will be encountering and solving a host of interesting functional and technical challenges as you help develop and implement an industry-leading product capable of managing millions of complex financial contracts. Our customers use Alfa Systems to administer both retail and corporate business, from point of sale, through originations, to contract management and remarketing. Alfa Systems manages both high-volume transactions and complex leases and loans, in any region, language and currency. With over 30 current customers and 26 countries served, Alfa has been delivering successful projects since 1990, and is expanding rapidly throughout Europe, North America, Australasia and beyond. PurposeAlfa offers a wide spectrum of roles, including solution architecture, development management and implementation. You will work effectively as part of a team, implementing our leading software at banks and finance companies. The job involves working with Alfa colleagues, and customers to see challenges through from start-to-finish.
Primary responsibilities/duties- Implementation
- Requirements gathering and documentation including software design, business processes and training materials
- Supporting customer configuration of the software to meet their business requirements
- Software issue investigation and recreation, liaising with engineering teams to ensure issues are resolved efficiently, performing quality assurance and review of issues
- Managing the application release processes both internally and with the customer alongside supporting Alfa’s hosting service which deploys our system securely in the AWS public cloud
- Supporting the customer in creating reports and documents, mapping Alfa Systems concepts into a data warehouse or a document production tool

Required experience/qualifications:Excellent communication skills. Business analysis and client requirement gathering. Consultancy skills. Bachelor's degree qualification in any background. Problem-solving aptitude. Commitment to knowledge sharing. Must be authorised to work in the Australia without restrictions. Preferred experience/qualifications Interest in helping clients implement new technology. Experience in financial services or financial technology organizationsAround 1-2 years in software implementation, consultancy or a related fieldExperience with the implementation of enterprise, distributed systemsBasic experience with coding in Java or other object-oriented languages.
