Highlights of What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Executive Vice President, the APAC GTM Specialist's overall responsibility is to support the full lifecycle of programs and engagements for clients based in Australia wishing to activate their brand in China, Japan, Korea, and throughout Southeast Asia. Your typical day will involve:

Account Management:

  • Act as the primary focal point of contact between the organization and our customer for onboarding, ongoing communications, and strategic planning of programs and projects for clients based in Australia
  • Manage clients’ expectations, scope of work, and a portfolio of work packages through to end completion
  • Support client programs in full, including product scoping, new client onboarding support, and program management

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop long-term strategic plans that drive client program growth and market share expansion
  • Define clear objectives, strategies, and tactics aligned with client and company goals and market dynamics

Building Strong Relationships:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations
  • Understand clients’ business needs, challenges, and goals in order to provide tailored solutions and support

Driving Revenue Growth:

  • Liaise with the Operations, Marketing, Logistics, and other regional teams to achieve clients’ business objectives and scope of work, as well as for further strategic development and client relationship management

Brand Management Support:

  • Provide support to brand teams in developing marketing strategies, brand positioning, and product launches
  • Assist in the development of brand plans, including advertising, promotion, and pricing strategies

What You’ll Bring Along

Must-Haves:

  • 3-7 years of experience in program management, merchandising, marketing, branding, e-commerce management, client services, and/or business consulting
  • Demonstrated background in client service work, marketing strategy, go-to-market planning, e-commerce, or brand management
  • Applied knowledge of online ecosystems in China, Japan, Korea, and/or Southeast Asia (e-commerce platforms, social media channels, digital marketing trends, etc.)
  • Outstanding ability to communicate confidently in a client-facing environment, verbally and in writing; ability to communicate with culturally diverse teams and clients
  • Ability to collaborate with internal, external, and geographically dispersed teams; team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Aptitude for digital tool adoption and process building to enhance efficiency
  • Proven drive for results with experience in delivering operational and strategic programs to meet and exceed targets and objectives
  • Self-disciplined; ability to self-manage and perform effectively with minimal supervision
  • Ability to resolve ambiguity and think on your feet

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Agency or professional services experience is an asset
  • Experience in managing an e-commerce program is an asset
  • Product management experience is an asset

Where You'll Work

This is a hybrid position in our office in Sydney, Australia. Remote work opportunities are available but the ideal candidate will live in the Sydney area.
