Construction Supervisor

Full time

$130k – $150k per year + Vehicle + Phone + Laptop

Avia Homes is a young dynamic team who is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor, who has a positive can-do attitude, on a full-time ongoing basis. 

As a Construction Supervisor you will be reporting directly to the Construction Manager and expected to perform the following tasks:

• Build quality homes in accordance with plans, specifications and company construction policies and procedures within contracted timeframes
• Day to day scheduling, management and coordination of trades on site, suppliers & deliveries, completion of paperwork and other admin tasks.
• Ensure correct building practices and procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Maintaining site safety and cleanliness
• Ensuring work is completed to a satisfactory standard
• Enforce and adhere to OH&S regulations
• Attend monthly construction meetings

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• QBCC Building Supervisors licence held for minimum 12 months
• Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
• Trade/Construction background

Ideally, we are looking for someone who:

• Has strong leadership & motivational skills 
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams of sub-contractors
• An ability to ensure that jobs are scheduled effectively and are managed within budget and time specifications.
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality
• Confidence and ability in dealing with a diverse range of people
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills, including oral and written communication
• A passion to produce a high quality of work
