This year, Oncall celebrates 40 years on being a leading international provider of language services. The Oncall team comprises over 4000 interpreters and translators representing over 230 languages. Our purpose is to ensure our clients always receive innovative, responsive, and high-quality communication solutions.

The Opportunity
Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for creating high-performance workplace cultures? We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our team and ensure our HR functions align with Fair Work policies and procedures, especially for our remote workforce. This is an onsite role with fulltime ongoing opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage interpreter inquiries and feedback.
  • Coordinate performance evaluations of our interpreters
  • Conduct formal investigations into complaints.
  • Facilitate performance reviews and improvement plans.
  • Address issues to improve interpreter performance in line with Oncall’s values.
  • Document and maintain reports in employee profiles.
  • Update profiles and feedback within our Interpreter portal
  • Support the launch of interpreter engagement and other programs

  • Update profiles and feedback within our Interpreter portal
  • Support the launch of interpreter engagement and other programs
What we’re looking for
Successful candidates will demonstrate the following:
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience with a strong background in performance management and or IR.
  • Knowledge of Fair Work policies and procedures.
  • Proven experience in conducting investigations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
