Salter Brothers Hospitality have a rare and career defining opportunity for a Regional General Manager to join our team and oversee multiple properties in regional NSW, with your home base being The Hunter Valley.
Joining us in a key Leadership role you work in collaboration with the Executive Committee and fellow Regional Managers to drive and deliver the success of our luxury Hotel portfolio.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this appointment will provide strategic leadership within your region to ensure opportunities at each of your properties are optimised and that all key performance and financial targets are achieved.

The role and key duties;
- Provide overarching, hands on, support and assistance to all within your region;
- A responsibility for ensuring your direct reports adhere to procedures and
processes as set by the Senior Leadership Team as they evolve; - Ensure a consistent guest experiences within your region and an overall responsibility for the protection and enhancement of the brand;
- Ensure a thorough understanding of the business model and act as a conduit and advocate for change, growth and continuous improvement;
- Identifying and grow, current and future leaders within your region to foster a culture of professional development;
- Enhance the success of your direct reports by guiding them on the execution of budget and operational strategies;
- Champion marketing and brand awareness at a local level;
- Work to refine, implement, and improve operational standards as well as protecting the physical assets of your region.
Essential criteria required to be considered;
- Relevant tertiary education in Business, Hospitality Management or similar;
- Minimum 5 years of Hotel management experience in a high end or luxury Hotel environment;
- Must have Area, Regional or Multi-Hotel GM experience;
- Strong Food and Beverage background;
- Proven track record in managing and motivating high performing teams
across multiple business units; - Sound acumen and ownership of P&L's, business models, budgeting and strategic leadership;
- Experience in the repositioning of operational standards to meet luxury brand standards;
- Excellent communication and leadership skills;
- Willingness to tackle every aspect of the business with a hands-on approach and a positive attitude.
