As they continue to expand, they are looking for a talented and driven Financial / Senior Accountant to join their team on the beautiful Gold Coast.

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior/Financial Accountant to manage the financial operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for contributing to the success of a growing business.

Your duties will include,

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Perform reconciliations of bank accounts and financial transactions.
  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns.
  • Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CA qualification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
