Our OpportunityWork Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.
Roster: 4:3 FIFO ex Perth
Employment Type: The advertised position is for a fixed term of 12 months.
Iron Bridge signifies Fortescue’s entry into the high-grade segment of the iron ore market, providing an enhanced product range while also increasing annual production and shipping capacity. Located 145km south of Port Hedland, Iron Bridge is Fortescue’s first magnetite operation and incorporates the North Star and Glacier Valley Magnetite ore bodies.
Key Responsibilities- Promote and implement risk reduction via the exposure risk reduction program and the potential loss of life program
- Establish and sustain key engineering and reliability systems, processes, and tools to support continuous improvement with safe and cost-effective plant reliability
- Support maintenance execution and the maintenance work management process
- Provide leadership, direction, and support for the engineering and reliability and maintenance engineering teams
- Identify and manage asset reliability risks centered around equipment life cycle

Qualifications and ExperienceHigh-performing leader with demonstrated experience leading and motivating multidiscipline engineering, reliability, operational teams across the mining industry. An Australian recognized Engineering Degree or similar Post-graduate qualification in Reliability or Project Management (preferred). Strong safety leadership skills and actively promote safe work initiatives. Demonstrated budget management experience. A collaborative leader with strong communication, influence, and stakeholder engagement skills.
