WesTrac are looking for a motivated Service Rebuild Advisor to join our South Guildford Component Rebuild Centre supporting our CRC Engines Team.

Reporting to the Area Manager, the Service Rebuild Advisor (SRA) is required to work closely with maintenance technicians during the Strip down, cleaning and Assembly processes with a particular focus on parts re-usability.

This involves recommending and approving the re-use, salvage, or replacement of parts to be used during the repair process and contributing to the final costings. When the assembly of components or repairs are completed, the SRA will also be responsible for the final in-depth inspection, before signing off and approving the release of the product.

The Service Rebuild Advisor will provide to the business, technical assistance with Failure Analysis (FA) reporting, relating to the repairs carried out in the Component Rebuild Centre (CRC) and assist in the development of all Component Appraisal Reports (CAR).

In addition, the role will provide technical advice, coaching and mentoring to all technicians as required across the CRC group. The successful candidate will be required to perform the role of SME by being present and approachable in the work area for a large portion of the allocated working time.

We are looking for a confident, self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail who can manage multiple tasks with ease. You will have a problem-solving mindset, always focusing on the needs of the business and its stakeholders whilst liaising with a range of departments and services.

Location: Guildford, WA 

Roster: 5 Days 2 Off 10.5hrs (Monday to Friday – Permanent Full Time)

To be successful the following is required:

  • Mechanical trade qualification preferred but not essential/ or tertiary qualification in mech-discipline/ or equivalent industry experience.
  • Ability to meet CRC KPI's with the timely delivery of customer reports.
  • Ability to provide accurate reports on reusability guidelines on components being overhauled in the CRC facility will be critical in this role.
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • Strong Coaching and Mentoring skills
  • Stakeholder Engagement and organisation skills will be essential.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • DBS Experience advantageous.
  • Workplace Trainer / Assessor would be well regarded but not essential.
