Business/Systems Analysts (Information & Communication Technology)

Our professional services client is actively driving digital transformation throughout the organisation and is eager to enhance their capabilities in data and analytics. As part of this initiative, they are seeking a talented data analyst to join their team in Brisbane CBD.

This position is being created to accommodate team expansion. As a member of a four-person team consisting of a Director, Senior Business Analyst, Commercial Analyst, and the Data Analyst role, you will play a vital role in the team's success.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain reports using SSRS, SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Update existing reports to align with evolving business requirements.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure accurate and comprehensive capture of reporting content.
  • Assist in the implementation of a new BI reporting solution, including reconciliation, testing, and end-user support during rollout.
  • Enhance data quality and streamline data collation processes to ensure accurate reporting outputs.
  • Optimise the data model supporting reporting solutions to meet flexibility, usability, and performance standards.
  • Facilitate requirement gathering meetings and workshops with stakeholders to drive continuous business process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Prepare documentation to support ongoing projects, including specifications and design documents.
  • Maintain existing registers and documentation.

Skills Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
  • Previous experience working in the professional services sector.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, PowerApps, and Power Automate.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.
  • Must be located within a commutable distance of the Brisbane CBD office to be considered.
