Job description
CGC Recruitment are working in partnership with one of WA's leading industrial construction contractors who due to newly awarded projects are now seeking a Senior Project Engineer to play a key role within the business.
The client have high profile client base and a proven track record in delivering technically challenging and innovative industrial construction projects - Logistics Facilities, High spec warehouses / sheds, Distribution Centres etc.
The Role - Senior Project Engineer
As an SPE, you will be in a highly diverse role, across all aspects of the projects you are working on in this multifaceted role. Involved in the initial stages design, through to procurement, project engineering, coordination with consultants and the client, as well as coordinating with the CA's, PM and site delivery teams in this end to end role.
The role is a hybrid position between office and site, estimated around 75% office, 25% site.
An excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer or experienced CA who enjoys more of the technical side as opposed to contracts - to step into this SPE role.
Experience
- 5+ years in a Site / Project Engineering capacity on building, civil, industrial or NPI projects in Australia
- Degree qualification in either Civil or Structural Engineering
- Proactive and innovative mindset
You'll be joining a highly innovative and forward thinking head contractor who consistently receive repeat business from high profile clients, due to their high quality delivery. Now a medium sized contractor, several members have been with the team for a number of years climbing the ranks internally into senior management roles.
A permanent long term opportunity with a highly competitive salary package on offer between $170-180k depending on experience.
