Job Description

The Role:

This is a new position that is to come in and provide additional sales support for our education sector as well as the potential to assist within the Healthcare, in patient and retail market.

The ideal candidate will have a strong operational management background in Education or other Food Services contracting and would be looking for a company to call home(potential succession and long term development is available).

Hybrid working options with 3 days in the office and up to 2 days working from home as business requirements permit

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting for potential new clients across all sectors with a specific focus on Education and Healthcare contracts in the Foodservice sector
  • Ensuring achievement of both individual and team sales targets and KPIs 
  • Conducting thorough and timely research on each market to build a sales pipeline with clear and structured plans for opportunity management
  • Build relationships with key industry stakeholders to actively promote the Cater Care brand within the market.
  • Remain constantly up to date with industry trends and innovations, changing client needs, and present potential initiatives/innovations for development
  • Working with a team to produce client facing sales and marketing collateral including proposals, tender response submissions, brochures, email campaigns etc. 

Essential technical skill sets:

5+ years experience in a B2B sales/business development role, preferably within the contract catering/hospitality industry or alternatively strong, senior operational management experience in Food Service, Education or Healthcare sectors.

Education:

Tertiary qualifications in a business related discipline will be highly regarded

  • 5+ years experience in a B2B sales/business development role, preferably within the contract catering/hospitality industry
  • Tertiary qualifications in a business related discipline will be highly regarded
  • Passionate, proactive ‘Hunter’ who is not afraid to pick up the phone
  • Advanced communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong experience in utilising a CRM to enable sales success
  • Experience in proposal and tender coordination and development
  • Superior business relationship management experience
  • Extremely organised with a strong focus on attention to detail
  • Experience using Google Apps Suite and Microsoft Office applications;
  • Strong team and customer orientation with a positive attitude and the willingness to take on new challenges.
