The role will be responsible for, but not limited to:
• Work effectively across teams to provide cloud expertise to enhance and improve existing solutions, including designing, developing, implementing, and testing solutions, in line with business requirements and software development standards.
• Work collaboratively with other teams to investigate and resolve complex issues with the operation of infrastructure and infrastructure as code.
• Work effectively with other teams to investigate and resolve complex issues with the implementation of the Azure platform.
• Contribute to the re-architecture of platforms and migration projects to move AEC systems to cloud.
• Ensure deadlines are consistently met and that a high standard of technical and design documentation is provided.
• Define, develop and document the existing automation technologies to enhance the system’s build, test and deployment capabilities.
• Assist the application development teams with the development and maintenance of DevOps continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines.
• Perform additional duties or assume responsibility of functions as required.
• Contribute to providing On-call support for AEC infrastructure and systems.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements

Mandatory:
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in implementing enterprise IT solutions consuming Azure services – including, but not limited to the following:
o Infrastructure as a service (IaaS)
o Serverless Compute – Azure Functions, Web Apps
o Storage – blobs, files shares, queues and tables
o Integration – Service Bus and Event Hub
o Identity – Entra ID (AAD), Azure B2C and Entra ID Connect
o API Management (APIM) – developing APIs, APIM maintenance and infrastructure
• Demonstrated experience in developing Azure DevOps CI/CD YAML pipelines using ARM and/or Bicep
• Demonstrated experience with managing and migrating solution infrastructure to the Azure platform
• Demonstrated knowledge of risk management principles and processes in context of Infrastructure management
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels and influence key stakeholders.
• Intune management and configuration of mobile devices.
• Office 365 best practice and configuration in line with the DTA blueprint.
• Cultural fit:
o Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams
o Ability to work with technical and non-technical staff at all levels.
o Ability to collaborate and mentor team members to promote team harmony

Desirable:
• Relevant qualifications in IT, including cloud certification
• Experience with GIT version control and common branching strategies.
• Experience with function apps
• Demonstrated knowledge of IT frameworks, such as ITIL and TOGAF
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Commonwealth frameworks, including ICT
frameworks
