Quality Specialist

On behalf of our client, a global oilfield services company, we are currently looking for a Quality Specialist to join their team in their Perth officer for a 12 month contract.

The Quality Control Engineer provides QC set-up and support in tendering and execution phases.

  • Oversee fulfilment of contractual and regulatory requirements to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Capture lessons learned to continually improve execution processes.
  • Elaborates proposals for improvement in approaches, methods, procedures and processes in the own field
  • Handles communication with direct colleagues and the business about progress and eventual roadblocks
  • Contributes to project as a team member
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, sourcing, commercials, and quality to ensure compliance and identify opportunity of improvement
  • Expedite/coordinate the gathering of certificates for presentation to the customer
  • Assist with tracking and management of NC products
  • Ensures that all aspects of Quality are maintained in line with the company Quality Policy
  • Coordinate Inspections
  • Complete additional quality responsibilities as allocated


  • Degree in Science or Engineering
  • Min. 3 years experience in the industry &/or 2 years in Quality/Quality Control
  • Thorough understanding of manufacturing drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of current industry standards
  • Knowledge of requirements associated with the control of monitoring and measuring devices.
  • Ability to handle multiple issues / priorities while working towards agreed schedules & deadlines
  • Familiar with MS office and Oracle
