About the Role:

One of a2MC’s four strategic goals is to create long-term, enduring value for shareholders and a trusted, transparent relationship. As the Head of Investor Relations, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will heavily support this goal through cultivating strong relationships with The a2 Milk Company's investing community. You will be a2MC’s key liaison with investors, analysts and other key stakeholders, and be responsible for coordinating key investor engagement activities. This role requires a leader with significant experience managing senior investor relations responsibilities and accountabilities for ASX / NZX listed companies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive investor relations strategy.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and being responsive to investor needs.
• Organise investor relations activities such as briefings, roadshows, and conferences.
• Oversee the development of market announcements, results materials, Q&A, and briefing content.
• Participate in investor, analyst and other external meetings, and represent the company at industry conferences, investor forums, and relevant associations
• Monitor market trends and investor sentiment to provide insights to the executive team and Board.
• Peer and competitor analysis: assist in the monitoring of global and domestic industry peers and ‘similar’ consumer businesses, and prepare periodic and ad-hoc analysis of key metric and key trends across the regional and global consumer industry.
• Build strong relationships with investors, analysts, and internal teams.

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of investor relations experience with a publicly listed company.
• Thorough understanding of ASX and NZX regulations.
• Background in FMCG and China consumer market are advantageous.
• Exceptional communication skills and a professional manner.
• Experience coordinating investor engagement activities and engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders.
• 4 Litres of fresh a2 milk for each team member weekly

Back in 2000, The a2 Milk Company was founded in New Zealand by Dr Corran McLachlan after an amazing discovery.

While studying at Cambridge University, Corrie learned that proteins in milk affect people differently.

He learned that ordinary cows produce milk with different beta-casein proteins, called A1 and A2 (among others). What was amazing? Many people who had discomfort when drinking ordinary cows’ milk were able to enjoy a2 Milk without the same downsides because it contains only the A2 protein and no A1.

He further discovered that, originally, all cows produced only the A2 protein and no A1 (the A1 protein emerged later through modern farming practises in European herds and then spread throughout the world).

Corrie knew there were still some cows that produced milk with only the A2 protein. The secret was finding a safe and non-invasive way to identify the right cows and ensure he could deliver natural and pure a2 Milk, completely free from the A1 protein, to people everywhere. So, he did.

And, from there, The a2 Milk Company was formed.

Today, our mission remains the same: to pioneer the scientific understanding behind a2 Milk so we can bring more people the pleasure and nutritional goodness that only comes from real and natural milk.
