About the Role

Thomas Foods International invites a driven and passionate individual to join our Finance team at our Rose Park, Adelaide site. This hands-on, operational role is in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a Junior Reporting Analyst, you will be continually challenged and gain extensive, varied experience across the business.

Reporting directly to the Reporting and Analytics Manger, your role will involve delivering accurate and timely data and analysis to support key operational decisions. You will collaborate with various business units to refine processes and enhance the overall performance of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Report Generation: Prepare daily and weekly costing reports, ensuring timely distribution and accuracy.

Data Analysis: Analyse report results, identify variances, and provide explanations for deviations from expected performance.

Administrative Support: Manage filing and record-keeping for all related activities and assist with general administrative duties within the team.

Customer Service: Provide exemplary service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Operational Support: Regularly visit plant sites to understand operations, investigate report variances, and enhance the accuracy of reporting.

Process Automation: Streamline processes to minimise manual input and increase efficiency.

Integration and Development: Merge multiple data sources for report automation and maintain process documentation.

We seek a candidate who is driven to enact positive change and possesses excellent analytical skills to interpret and communicate complex information effectively across diverse groups. You should have impeccable attention to detail, demonstrate proactive initiative, and excel with strict deadlines.

Experience and Qualifications

Essential

  • Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Power BI is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good communication skill and ability to work collaboratively
  • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
  • Sound problem solving skills;
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills;
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing business requirements.

Desired

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or Information Technology
  • Knowledge of designing Power Bl reports and dashboards
  • Experience in agriculture, meat or food processing industry.
