Kindergarten Director

Teaching - Early Childhood (Education & Training)

Warwick Community Kindergarten is seeking to appoint a Centre Director on a full-time basis to commence as soon as possible.

The Director will have a 0.5 teaching load (5 days per fortnight) and a 0.5 administrative load.

The essential requirements of the role are:

• A passion for working with pre-school aged children in a play-based learning environment.
• Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA
• Exemption Blue Card
• A demonstrated understanding of the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG), the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS).
• The ability to lead a team of dedicated educators and assistants.
• A demonstrated ability to undertake the business and compliance aspects of operating a kindergarten, including finance, work health and safety, human resources and marketing.
• Excellent relationship building, communication and interpersonal skills.
