12 Month Contract role available for a skilled Data/Business Analyst

Data/Technical Business Analyst - 12 month Contract

Primary Purpose: As a Data/Technical Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role as a liaison officer between business partners, vendors, and our data technical team. Your responsibilities will include developing source-to-target data mapping, documenting technical specifications, data models, and logical database schemas aligned with data flow and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop source-to-target mapping and design documents, ensuring security and performance tuning best practices.
  • Document technical specifications and data models aligned with business and data process flows.
  • Provide analytical and data support, focusing on Workers Compensation products.
  • Perform advanced data-related tasks like reconciling data, extracting and transforming data, cleaning data, and identifying issues.
  • Conduct data analysis to support ETL development, issue analysis, and resolution.

Qualification & Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
    • Up to 6 years of experience in technical business analysis and data analysis applications roles in a complex information system environment
    • Up to 6+ years of intermediate to advanced SQL experience
    • Experience in data mapping and modelling tools such as SPARX or ERWIN
    • Exposure to Snowflake database
