This position is offered as either residential to Karratha or Western Australian FIFO - interstate applications may be considered on a 2:1 or 2:2 roster, offers a competitive remuneration package.


About the role 
We are currently seeking a Flashbutt Supervisor to join our passionate and knowledgeable team playing a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the railway infrastructure's integrity and safety by ensuring the reliable and high-quality welding of rail sections. 


Key responsibilities: 

- Rail Section Preparation

- Quality Control

- Assisting Maintenance and Repair

- Record Keeping

- Safety Compliance

Skills and experience  
Required 

  • Proven experience as a Flashbutt Welder 5+ years
  • Current White card
  • Current Drivers Licence (HR)
  • Ability to pass a CAT 1 Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening
  • Knowledge of rail components, track systems, and safety standards.
  • Familiarity with railway safety regulations and best practices
  • Experience working on rail networks in the Pilbara
  • Heavy ridged truck (HR) licence
  • High Risk Work tickets
  • RTIO & BHP Inducted
