Our client, an ASX listed exploration company, has an extensive portfolio of projects prospective for Gold, Base Metals, and REE’s, including having recently acquired the 4th largest land position in the underexplored West Arunta province, sharing >20km tenement border with the world class Luni discovery made by WA1.

With a driven and highly motivated board, they seek to appoint a suitably qualified Executive Geologist/CEO into this key leadership role, embarking on an exciting phase driving a company making discovery.

Reporting directly to the board, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the businesses exploration activities and influencing the overall business direction towards discovery success. Ably supported by the board, this is a hand on leadership role, with duties including: 

• Advancing the flagship West Arunta projects through systematic exploration activities towards maiden drilling programs and ultimately discovery success
• Supporting a significant value uplift in the business, to align with regional peers.
• Manage existing projects to advance them to a point where they can be advanced in their own right or commercialised via other avenues.
• Build investor support with existing shareholders, which will be ably supported by existing board who command extensive networks within the institutional and corporate/broker markets.
• Develop relationships with potential sophisticated shareholders to support growth of the business.

We require a degree qualified Geologist with a broad exposure to exploration across a variety of commodities and mineral terranes within the Junior ASX listed explorer/developer environment.
You will have the drive and hunger to progress the company's exploration activities in one of Australia’s desired exploration addresses, post the success of WA1. With a refreshed treasury position and projects, this is a blank canvass for a dynamic and engaging leader to make their mark.

This is an exciting grass roots development opportunity that will appeal to either Exploration Managers looking to further develop their career into the corporate environment, or experienced CEO’s looking to be involved the ongoing growth and development of an ASX listed explorer, with genuine prospects to become a developer. 
A highly attractive salary, including a generous equity component will be offered to attract the right person.
