Our Client:

Our client is on a mission to empower children of all abilities and their families through early intervention services. This organisation and its talented team of clinicians offer an inclusive environment which promotes growth, both for their team members and the children they support. They believe every child deserves the best start in life, and they're seeking a like-minded Speech Pathologist to join them in achieving this mission. ️

Your New Role:

  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals to assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based intervention for children with communication difficulties.
  • To assess, plan, develop and implement educational, therapeutic, and other intervention strategies and programs for children with specific developmental needs, delays or disabilities and their families
  • Craft personalised therapy plans tailored to each child's unique needs, ensuring growth and progress.
  • Engage families in the therapy process, offering guidance, education, and support to empower them on their journey.
  • Contribute to workshops and training sessions for parents, caregivers, and professionals to enhance awareness and understanding of speech and language development.

Your Skills:

  • A recognised degree in Speech Pathology and relevant certification.
  • SPA Membership
  • Current Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme (DWES) clearance
  • Current First Aid (including anaphylaxis, asthma, CPR)
  • Current Victorian Drivers licence
  • Experience within the NDIS -Desired not essential*
  • Comfortable with lifting and carrying equipment
  • A dedication to making a positive impact on children's lives through early intervention.
  • Strong communication skills, both with children and fellow team members.
  • Empathy, patience, and a nurturing approach in your interactions.
  • An eagerness to learn and thrive in a supportive and progressive environment.
