Live - What you will doA new opportunity has arisen to join our diverse and inclusive Supply Chain team. As Amgen continues to grow, this is a key position managing the product portfolio supply and launch plans. This role will close collaboration cross-functionally to establish local demand plans, purchase order management, and launch coordination.
This role does not have people leadership responsibility but involves working closely with Supply Chain, Quality, Finance and Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure Amgen’s products are delivered to customers on time, in quality order, and with cost effectiveness. A background in Pharmaceutical supply chain will be essential for this role. The position reports to the Associate Director Supply Chain and is a permanent full time role based in Sydney with hybrid working flexibility.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for undisrupted patient supply, supply risk assessment and mitigation plans as part of the ANZ Supply Chain Planning process
- Conduct ANZ Demand Review meetings for assigned products
- Responsible for demand and supply planning for ANZ commercialization of assigned products, product launches & Lifecycle Management (LCM)
- Ensure timely planning of finished product using Anaplan & Rapid Response as tools of choice to communicate ANZ requirements
- Represent the supply network and work with ANZ cross functional team (commercial, finance, RA, quality) to develop compliant product supply strategy for the planning horizon
- Represents ANZ commercial needs and work with ANZ Supply Chain to resolve supply conflicts
- Participate in cross functional meetings that support the Local & Regional Communication plan
- Represents ANZ requests in Global Product Development forums & seen as Supply Chain technical expert to support product filings and Business Cases

- Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain and/or Business
- A proven track record in Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Operations in Australia (including cold chain)
- Understanding of marketing principles and competitor practices
- Strong analytical skills (incl MS Excel) and ability to summarize findings
- GMP knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical regulations
- Residency and Work rights in Australia essential
