A leading global insurer is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive several initiatives within their commercial insurance team.
17th May, 2024Role Overview: Experienced Senior Business Analyst needed to join our dynamic team in the commercial insurance sector. You will be developing functional and technical requirements, data mapping and migration, conducting workshops, and supporting system migrations. Experience in commercial insurance is desirable, and exposure to agency channels would be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Develop comprehensive functional and technical requirements to guide system development and enhancements.
- Conduct data mapping and manage data migration processes to ensure seamless integration and system efficiency.
- Facilitate workshops with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Assist in the planning and execution of system migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Provide expert analysis and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
- Liaise with IT teams to ensure technical solutions meet business requirements and are delivered on time.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in commercial insurance.

- Strong understanding of insurance processes, products, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in data mapping, data migration, and system integration techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead workshops and present findings to stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and software.
