As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Finance to join our executive leadership team and drive our financial strategy.
Position Overview:
The Director of Finance will be a key member of the executive team, reporting to the CEO and liaising with the International Finance Team and Board, responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong finance background, experience with exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive financial process efficiencies, performance, and growth. Excellent organisation skills as well as communication with both the financial team as well as the wider organisation are essential components of the role. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in shaping the financial direction of the organization, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and supporting our mission to provide exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial planning and analysis functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth and profitability goals.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Lead annual Financial audit process, including managing local audit partner as well as liaising with the International Audit team.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal financial policies.
- Manage the finance team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other senior leaders to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
- Monitor cash flow, investment strategies, and capital expenditures to optimize financial performance.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing effective controls and procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Healthcare industry is preferred but not essential.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare financial regulations, reimbursement models, and industry trends.
- Proven track record of strategic financial planning, financial systems transformation and execution.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in financial management software and tools (Business Central & Syspro preferred).
- High level of integrity, with a commitment to ethical business practices.
