About the Opportunity

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver analytical, visualisation and decision based services to inform RACVs Digital Strategy by conducting detailed analyses through the use of online and offline data sources. 

As the Senior Digital Insights and Visualisation Specialist, you will utilise your experience in digital data analysis and visualisation and provide structured and data-backed analytics solutions in the development of actionable insights. The role demands an innovative approach with a range of analytical techniques and technologies to develop true end-to-end views of the member experience and outcomes related to digital self-service. You will build a strong rapport with a variety of stakeholders by providing advice on digital analytics.

The role interfaces closely with both the immediate Digital and Digital Product team and across the broader business including Technology, Content, Data Strategy & Analytics, Marketing as well as the RACV Leadership team.

You’ll be instrumental in ensuring our Digital team delivers exceptional service. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:

  • Deliver proactive and detailed analysis across all of RACVs digital assets using tools such as Adobe Analytics, Tableau & Fullstory.
  • Act as the visualization and insights SME within the digital analytics function.
  • Lead the growth of digital analytics capabilities across RACV including the adoption of Adobe Analytics to ensure value is realised by the business and data and insights are understood and acted on.
  • Deliver hands on analysis of the digital customer experience and associated offline activity to uncover actionable insights and make the appropriate strategic recommendations.
  • Be accountable for ongoing development of RACV’s digital analytics capability and integrate this into RACVs broader digital strategy. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across RACV.
  • Contribute to creating a culture where business decisions and outcomes are informed and driven by data.
  • Support the creation of an omni channel solution and the delivery of actionable insights to support this solution.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • In-depth numerical and analytical skills
  • 3+ years’ experience in digital analytics / customer analytics
  • Experience of digital analytics platforms (specifically Adobe Analytics)
  • Understanding of AEM and how it relates to Adobe Analytics (desirable)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with an ability to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Intermediate SQL skills and proficient in SAS, R or equivalent desirable
  • Strong visualisation skills and an ability to present to a range of stakeholders using Adobe Workspace, Tableau/Power BI, Excel, Adobe Report Builder and Infographics
  • Understanding of tag management solutions in the context of digital analytics reporting would be an advantage
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication with proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships
