Our client is an ASX Listed REIT that enjoys a strong performing portfolio in their specialised property class. They have developed an enviable reputation for the growth and quality of their long WALE assets, and impressive tenant base. The Board are currently seeking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director to lead the organisation through the next stage in their journey. This is ideally one of continued robust performance, further growth and optimisation.
As Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and vision to drive growth, profitability and sustainability of the organisation. The key responsibilities would include but not be limited to REIT operations, including asset management, property acquisition and disposal, financial management, investor relations and corporate governance. You would also be an executive Board member.
Whilst the REIT is delivering strong results, The Board are seeking to appoint a CEO who is strategic, innovative and enjoys challenging the status quo. The REIT is currently at a point of inflection where they could continue their current strategic direction or alternatively elevate and/or diversify the investment strategy. With the backing of the Board, this is an exciting opportunity to evolve an organisation using your knowledge, skills and drive.
In order to be successful in the role, you will offer experience in the property industry combined with exposure to the capital markets. In addition, you will be a good leader who can motivate a small, focused team, with the ability to lead key stakeholders through a period of evolution.
