About the Opportunity

An Events Project Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects, from the initial ideation through to completion. This role will coordinate people and processes to deliver projects on time, within budget and with the desired outcomes aligned to the objectives of the FCTG business.

What you will be doing

  • Providing leadership within the project teams to ensure delivery of customer requirements and expectations
  • Developing and managing project plans, schedules and budgets
  • Managing all aspects of project execution, conflicts and interdependencies in alignment with the approved project management plan
  • Providing timely and accurate project reporting and presentations to senior and executive management
  • Performing risk management to minimise project risks
  • Contributing to the ongoing refinement and development of project management frameworks

You'll be perfect for this role if you can showcase 5+ years experience in project management. Further, you will have:

  • Degree qualified, preferred in Project or Event Management
  • Proven track record in effective leadership and experience in training and 
  • mentoring team members 
  • A knowledge of all major suppliers and relevant MICE products and destinations
  • Demonstrated experience in project management with the event management sand production industry
