About the Opportunity:
Reporting directly to the CIO, we are seeking a skilled IT Security Manager to champion our cybersecurity initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will orchestrate our security strategy and systems, shielding against evolving cyber threats while safeguarding our network and critical customer data. As the cornerstone of our cybersecurity framework, you will ensure rigorous compliance and deploy vital security solutions. Lead our efforts into the future, where your expertise will directly impact our resilience and success.

- Cybersecurity Strategy and Implementation
- Incident Response and Management
- Compliance and Policy Management
- Security Operations Oversight
- Technology Evaluation and Integration
- Security Audits, Assessments and Risk
- Third Party Risk Assessment
- Cyber Security Budget Management
- Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
- Educational and Training Initiatives
Ideally you should possess the following experience, skills and competencies:
- 5+ years proven experience in an IT Security Manager/Head of Cyber role or in a similar capacity
- Implementing or working with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS and Essential 8
- Handling and responding to security incidents and breaches
- Compliance audits and the implementation of controls necessary to meet legal and regulatory standards
- Working closely with and managing vendors to forge key partnerships
- Previously managed security projects, including planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects.
- Deep knowledge of cyber threats, defense mechanisms, and the broader cybersecurity landscape
A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate. Previous knowledge of the healthcare industry will be an advantage but is not essential.
