We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled project manager to join our construction team.

Role Description

Based in Chatswood, NSW, you will be required to provide overall Leadership and Management of designated projects from handover and acceptance through construction to handover, finalisation, and defects. The role requires effective HSEQ management, continual physical control, financial awareness, strong leadership, good communication, and sound management. You will also provide mentoring, coaching, and support to more junior members of the team, as well as assist with project elements [methodologies, programs, etc.] of key/strategic bids and overall bid conversion.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will be a team player who has:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar project management role with solid exposure and knowledge across trades and all stages of the construction process in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Management of trades to ensure high-quality, timely, and financially favourable outcomes
  • Ability to manage project timelines and budgets
  • Strong working knowledge of BCA and Australian Standards including Disability Code
  • Sound computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft office, MS Project
  • Ensure compliance to site WHS plans and processes
  • Ability to develop and maintain strategic customer relationships resulting in repeat business

In addition, you will have a strong desire to succeed, you will need to be able to think on your feet, work well autonomously and demonstrate a commitment to quality, high standards and attention to detail.
