Job title: Financial Modeller

Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia (On-site)

We're currently partnering with a firm that specialises in investing and developing energy & infrastructure projects as they look to hire a Financial Modeller to join their investment team.

They're looking for a motivated Financial Modeller with 1-2 years of experience, ideally in energy or infrastructure, to play a key role in supporting their project evaluations, financial analysis, and decision-making processes.

• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support investment decisions, project financing, and business planning initiatives.

• Analyse financial data, market trends, and project metrics to assess investment viability and identify opportunities for optimization.

• Support due diligence activities for potential investments, including financial due diligence, market research, and competitor analysis.

• Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and financial summaries for internal stakeholders, investors, and project partners.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

• 1-2 years of experience in financial modelling, preferably in the energy or infrastructure sector.

• Proficiency in financial modelling software (e.g., Excel, VBA, Python) and familiarity with project finance principles.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and perform quantitative analysis.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
