We are seeking an experienced Project and Programs Manager to join our Canberra team and lead our project management department. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee the end-to-end execution of our projects, ensuring seamless coordination, exceptional quality, and timely delivery. Reporting directly to the business director you will support and mentor other project managers to succeed in their roles and coordinate with other area managers to refine our business systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically plan and manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including designers, artists, and fabricators.
- Cultivate client relationships, understand their needs and ensure expectations are met.
- Oversee production of project documentation, procurement, and risk assessment.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation and problem-solving within the team.
- Communicate project progress effectively to stakeholders and senior management.
- Uphold Thylacine's reputation for excellence and innovation.
- Lead and mentor other project managers within the business.
- Assist with the development of systems to effectively manage design and fabrication projects both large and small scale.
Requirements:
- Five years’ proven experience in project management, preferably within creative or design industries.
- Strong leadership skills, capable of guiding and motivating a diverse team.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication, emotional intelligence and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, including MS Project, Scoro and Streamtime.
- Demonstrated success in managing budgets and resources.
- Adaptability and the ability to navigate challenges with a solutions-oriented approach.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering top-tier quality outcomes.
